Ostend Airport, otherwise known as Ostend-Bruges Airport. It is located 4Km
South West of Ostend, 25Km West of Bruges, on the Belgian coast

It's not a runway - it's a taxiway.

It's NOT shut down - the prop is rotating.
As opposed to irritating.

There ya go....now if you'd just said that the first time, you'd have
saved a whole lot of time getting to the point.
Thanks anyway,
Now maybe you could post the details to that site.

You're very welcome - BTW that particular B-747 has had a rather colorful career
if you care to do a Google on it's rego.
Cheers

It's not a runway. See that taxiiway running parallel to the 08/26
runway?

... of maybe they're on the turning circle at the 08 end. It's
hard to tell from the photo.

If it had just landed, wouldn't all the flaps still be out, spoilers and
airbrakes deployed? I'm no expert but it appears that all of these are still
retracted. But the leading edge slats (if that's the correct word) appear to be
operated.
Not sure what configuration that is for.

Those are my principles. If you don't like them I have others.

Take off....
Spoilers and flap are retracted as you leave the landing runway, so
generally aircraft taxying in are 'clean'.
