I sure would like to see some updated scores from Region 9......and hear
what's going on.  Did a protest really knock out a day?  Why were the
launches late.....weather....lack of tow planes..... or what?  What happened
yesterday?
Anybody have the news?

Weather problems on Wednesday led to a couple of contestants in Sports
Class being unable to start the task and this resulted in a couple of
protests.  Counter protests have been made and the issue is still
being resolved.

Thursday was rained out, but the skies have cleared significantly and
as I write this, all classes are gridded under widely scattered
cumulus and should be launching in the next hour on a nominal 260-mile
3-1/2 hour task.  Tomorrow is also looking good, so expect six task
days (five for Sports).
