I originally posted this in rec.aviation.homebuilt, but I think this
might be a better forum.

I'm looking to get clarification on the upper rudder hinge on an
airbike.  The lower hinge is the familiar interleaved arrangement with
a hinge pin, but the drawing for the upper hings leaves something to
be desired.  Has anyone built this airplane and figured out that
hinge?

Thanks

I'm afraid you might be mistaken there. This forum is deplorably silent,
certainly suffering from the general decline of usenet, and perhaps on
top of that it suffers name confusion: most aviation forums on usenet
are mainly visited and fed by US'ans, but in the USA the word
"ultralight" means a very light single seater, such as a minimax, often
powered by a VW engine or some 2-stroke. In many other parts of the
world, Europe in particular, "ultralight" can mean a trike and also such
a minimax-like plane, but also and most commonly a two-seater with
80-120 hp, which rather conforms to the US concept of an LSA though
somewhat lighter.

And no, I have no real answer to your question, really sorry! RAH
remains your best bet AFAICS.
