Hi, while waiting at Sydney for a flight out I noticed that B737 aircraft do not use flap for takeoff The result is that they take off faster and obviously further down the runway

i was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on getting in to leigh creek. i have heard it's surrounded by mountains and the approach from the east is a bit tricky over the flinders ranges. some arrive over the top at 6500 and make a circling descent and others descend

In todays West Australian Sat 17 april 2004, page 51 there is an amazing piece of BS attributed to CASA. Massive insurance hikes killed the Langley Park fly-in for the SAAA. the Royal Aero Club for whatever reasons have tried to keep it alive.
