Just did my first solo a few days back. A friend asked me was I nervous; I
replied what made me nervous was how I'd spent nigh on 20 hours doing
circuits and still my instructor (s) wouldn't let me go solo!
It was my rudder & aileron coordination on short finals that was letting ...

Got the laymans version of this last night from a QF FO...
Air India departing LAX blew a tyre on take-off.  He chose to return

I don't know about other people but in my opinion is that CASA's new fee
policy is frigen ridiculous... just looking at the charges  at
