When Qantas flies west from Hong Kong to London, does it generally fly the B330/L888 route? If so, then does it connect by flying the JTG to Sanli waypoint? Or does it fly Ombon to Revki?

In the last 10 days or so, there has been a QANTAS 747 making a (daily?) west to east track maybe 60-80km south of Canberra. It is low enough that I can make out the red tail - maybe FL150??, and I can hear it. What has changed? This is quite unusual for here.

seeing some great pics of this beach with 747's literally 10 metres overhead on landing, I wanted to ask, does this pose a danger of jet wash to people on the beach below, not to mention the ear bursting sound. This must be a plane spotters paradise.

The 7:30 report tonight Monday had something about the burial at Cowra of Japanese from a plane crash near Darwin in WW2. Maybe I misheard it but it said there were 32 crew in a Japanese light bomber? Anyone else see the story?
