When you are learning to fly or hiring a flying school aircraft, what sort
of insurance is provided by the flying school regarding the aircraft?
Is it insured for 3rd party property damage, personal injury/death of
bystanders or passengers in the aircraft??

I remember reading somewhere that the 787 is supposedly going to be
noticeably quieter for the pax than previous jet airliners... what is
the main source of noise in the cabin currently? i.e. slipstream noise
against the aircraft skin? engine noise? airconditioning? a ...

I know I might sound crazy, but I checked the Qantas website and they are
now quoting 1 1/2 hours to fly between Melb. to Syd.  Correct me if I'm
