Out of interest, having just read Knobdoodle tell yet another aus.aviation regular how to post, I googled him and said group. He's made 16 posts, of which just three were somehow aviation related. Perhaps 'Fark; "big twin" has a slightly different connotation here

Want to clear up and argument with a mate.. Does the Qantas MEL-HEATHROW flight fly direct no stops to the UK ?? Or does it land and refuel without passengers disembarking the aircraft, claiming to be direct ??

Ive noticed on some 737's on final to Adelaide airport that they have strange flashing lights on either the inner wing or fuselarge area. One each side, and they alternate about 2-3 times a second. They are not strobes and not operational on the majority of planes and not ...

How does an experienced crew get the wrong runway, I would guess they have flown out of that airport many times. Strange I think.

Just back from a trip to the US. What really anoyed me on this trip (and also on a previous one) was the following. Just after take-off out of Sydney, the captain makes an announcement in words to the effect that "it is a requirement by the US federal authorities
