History question - Qantas inflight upset from 1980s30 Nov 2008 05:45 GMT3
Anyone have any informatin about a Qantas inflight upset that occurred
in the early 1980s?
I think it was a flight to Singapore, but I'm not sure. The aircraft
suddenly climbed due to auto-pilot failure and some passengers were injured.

Interesting article on home grown heroes with JB leading the article.
He talks about teamwork, or CRM. I wonder how other cultures where the captain
is a more autocratic figure would have dealt with this incident.
