some time in the not too distant past a military aircraft from a
nearby, largely moslem, country put in a flight plan which saw it on a
navex coming over into darwin for a stopover.

December the 27th a Qantas A330 has an autopilot disconnect over NW
Australia. That's two A330s and I think a Malaysian B777 that have had
control problems in this area. One has to really question the communications
station now surely. I know the investigators are looking at this ...

I've been wanting to fly from VIC to King Island for yonks but dont
have an ASIC and not willing to fork out $200 for something I will
prolly only use once in 2 yrs ( its the principle as much as the
money)   ...I havent needed one in since they came into being, as my
