Over 250 aviation films!?01 May 2006 00:40 GMT5
While reminiscing on aviation themed movies (thanks to the thread started
by Jay Honeck's film-night post), I came across this article published in
the March 2006 issue of Flying Magazine, which attempts to list the best
(and worse) aviation movies:

Has anyone heard of a problem in earlier (1974) C182s where one fuel tank will draw down 3/4
before drawing from other tank when fuel selector in "Both" position? If so, any articles online?

Sad goodbyes to N0429 Apr 2006 22:56 GMT10
Well, as 2 airports a month close in this country it's time to say a sad
good bye to N04.  It's a beautiful uncontrolled field just east of BDR
and HVN.  Beautiful and right by the water.  Tiny field but close to a
main road and a 4 minute walk to the dunkin donunts, bagels, sea ...
Aviation movies, was "Pearl Harbor still sucks...29 Apr 2006 22:12 GMT1
I'm surprised no one mentioned "Strategic Air Command" starring Jimmy
Stewart.  The B-36 and B-47 scenes were outstanding, and the story wasn't
too bad.  Later Rock Hudson starred in "A Gathering of Eagles"  which was
likewise filled with great aviation scenes, B-52s galore, and a ...
AOPA has totally lost it29 Apr 2006 16:27 GMT18
1.  "Just the facts, maam":  Of the 10 busiest airports (listed airports
are big commercial airports), GA contributes only 4.5% of the traffic.
The Destroyer's conclusion:  "So much for the airlines claim that GA is
using more than its paying for."  Hysterical.  Beyond ludicrous.
Have you created anything "home-made" for your plane? (or a low cost alternative?)29 Apr 2006 15:25 GMT69
As a new pilot and new owner of a cessna 172, I've noticed the
seeimingly unlimited amount of accessories available for my plane. Most
seem to have one thing in common - a high price tag.
I was wondering if anyone reading this thread would share information
