Last night I watched a fascinating documentary on the History Channel, titled (I think) "Flight 191". This is the American Airlines DC-10 crash on March 25, 1979, in which 270+ were killed, after the No. 1 engine blew off its wing. (I was only eleven when this happened.)

My third class medical is coming up soon and I am a little worried. My doctor put me on Lipitor for elevated cholestrol this past year. Will this cause any red flags, problems or require further documentation for my third class medical?

Anyone has done the test of dropping the alka seltzer into mogas known to have ethanol? Did it fizz? I can definitely say that alka-seltzer does not fizz in ethanol free regular gasoline. Just tested it today and Jay did that a few days

I live near Los Alamitos Army Airfield (KSLI) and it turned out they were having a small show today. DRAT!!! Had I known... Anyway, being so close I got to hear and see an F/A-18 do some very low and fast passes. I'm about where normal traffic
