Hey all,
I'm looking at starting to build a premolded composite quickbuild kit
within the next few months. I'm looking to get as much practice

Stall strips vs. Washout27 Feb 2005 08:59 GMT27
I've noticed a lot of aircraft are designed to use washout at the tips

wanted the inboard part of the wing to stall before the outboard part
so aileron authority could be maintained a little longer.

Cozy, Long ezy, and diesel engine.26 Feb 2005 16:55 GMT46
Please excuse my ignorance, but I've been reading a lot of hoopla over 2
stroke diesel aircraft engines. Has anybody tried one of these in a Cozy or
Long Ezy? It sounds to me like that may make for a very fuel efficient
aircraft with good performance. Any reason why it can't be ...
Aeriks 20024 Feb 2005 16:19 GMT4
Does anyone know what happened to AceAir in Switzerland, the company that
had that cool composite homebuilt, the Aeriks 200, at OSH '03? Both their

Interior Fire Protection?22 Feb 2005 03:10 GMT5
I have been trying to research interior fire protection for use in
homebuilt aircraft, but really haven't been able to find much useful
information.  I am not talking about extinguishers which I consider
"active" protection in that you must be able to reach it and activate
homemade EFIS system and EMI22 Feb 2005 02:07 GMT76
As a pet/learning project I made a data aquisition unit using an 8051
microprocessor and an EPIA M motherboard running a variant of Linux to
process and display the information. It all works but the EMI from the
EPIA M causes way too much noise to the aircraft radios. I have tried
