| Fuel selector or two check valves? | 01 Jul 2005 00:21 GMT | 13 |
Instead of using a left/right fuel selector, could I use two check valves and connect the two tanks into a single feed? [LTANK]--->|-----T-----|<-----[RTANK] Where >| and |< are the check valves and 'T' is a T-connector towards the

| Seattle advice | 30 Jun 2005 22:03 GMT | 24 |
My wife and I are spending five nights in Seattle between July 4th and July 8th (leaving Saturday, July 9th). Since we're driving in on the fourth, we basically have the 5th through the 8th as full days to explore. We have to spend one day on the Olympic Penninsula (fond ...

| Loaner Radio | 30 Jun 2005 17:55 GMT | 5 |
I have a couple of radios that are excess to my current needs, but I really don't want to sell them. It's the old "Why didn't I keep those around. Now I've got to buy new ones" syndrome. Here's the list (all 12 volt only): Microair 760 (760 COM)

| What about putting aluminum foil on your antenna? | 30 Jun 2005 17:48 GMT | 33 |
Doesn't putting aluminum foil on your TV's antenna (rabbit ears) help reception by catching more rays? So in a composite airplane, with the antenna inside the fuselage, what about putting some foil on it to catch radio rays better?

| Idea For New Alexis Inn Suite | 30 Jun 2005 13:19 GMT | 2 |
Jay, I was reading one of your posts and thought of another suite for the Inn. How about a room honoring experimental-Amature Built Aircraft. I have no doubt many of us have parts we could contribute.

| Anyone know a good way to make a belly baggage pod? | 29 Jun 2005 07:33 GMT | 37 |
My Jurca Sirocco has so little baggage space, that it really needs some extra room. I'd like to make a bomb-shaped belly pod, and have seen some made on other homebuilts. I've heard of some of the Pitt's S-1 guys welding two spinners together, back to back, but that doesn't

| Auto-conversion adapter plate | 29 Jun 2005 06:19 GMT | 3 |
Well, I sold my big, custom-made bellhousing to another builder that wanted to get that radial look out of a rotary engine. That 21 pound chunk of aluminum just wasn't going to go nicely into the front of my Delta, so it's all for the best.

| Light weight low cost four stroke engines, good Rotax replacements. | 26 Jun 2005 06:01 GMT | 3 |
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FlyGeo_uncensored I thought this would be interesting for people on this group. The Geo/Suzuki one litre engine weighs a little more than a Rotax 582, it produces 62 HP normally aspirated but with a better, flatter

| bendix carb question | 25 Jun 2005 05:15 GMT | 11 |
My old C-85 has a Bendix Stromberg NA-S3A1, which is leaking for a time after shutdown. Previous owner of the plane had tied off the mixture control so shutdown is by reduced throttle and magnetos turned off.

Sometime last year one of the posters on here was moaning about the length of time that a Druine Turbulent takes to build, and that he wasnt even going to start. I looked at the post and thought, damn if that isnt exactly what I'm
