Newbie question about the spar and building21 Jan 2007 20:19 GMT6
I'm very new to all this; isn't the spar on a Wittman Tailwind or
Buttercup a solid piece of spruce with dimensions being something like

the Aircraft Spruce Inc. web site doesn't list any piece of wood this

After using a lawn tractors slightly oiled, green foam filter on my
experimental with C-85, a fellow remarked that it was much too thick (about

Not wanting to use control sticks17 Jan 2007 23:41 GMT14
Well, here I go again, thinking instead of doing.
My plane call for control sticks just like 99% of the homebuilts out
there. But I've been considering using a control yoke (maybe cessna 150
modified) instead. To get from the yoke  controls

FS:CS-10 VHF communications linear amplifier17 Jan 2007 17:30 GMT2
I have a CS-10 VHF communications amplifier for aircraft band.
I have quit flying so most likely will not use again. Apparently these
are no longer available as I have not been able to find them from any
supplier anywhere for price information This one was used about 20 hours
Wobble pump Handle15 Jan 2007 17:45 GMT1
I just acquired a WW-II Wobble pump(D-2) and would like to make a handle
for it--can anyone steer me to a picture of one WITH HANDLE ?
I have already broached an 8" length of 3/4 SQ aluminum to fit

Ok, what about the BD513 Jan 2007 05:17 GMT74
Ok, we have roasted the Mini 500, how about the BD5?
First things first, forget the jet. So few people could ever afford such a
thing it hardly seems viable from the get-go. But why has such a popular
design (on paper) found so little success? Thousands of people instantly fell
Asking to see the STC???12 Jan 2007 22:28 GMT4
For a covering system (in this case SuperFlite's System 1), there
should be no problem asking SuperFlite to see their STC, right?
