Badwater Bill29 Oct 2008 15:59 GMT17
I did know Bill personally and always found him a facinating
character. Every time I did post to rah Bill would always simply reply
" I thought you was dead" I'll really miss him.

The cancer has me pretty much tied down but the oncologist has urged
me to walk as much as possible.  So I arm myself with my Wal-Mart cane
and shove off to circle the patio.

The Homebuilt Engine, Part 122 Oct 2008 13:44 GMT9
If you've read the latest 'Sport Aviation' you were no doubt impressed
by the 'New Engines for Experimental Aircraft' (page 35).  The
infomercial shows a few engines with prices starting at about ten
grand, topping out at more than $50k, chump change for all those folks

I talked to Billy only three weeks ago when my wife and I were in Las
Vegas.  He was in the middle of building a model Helicopter and already
had plans for that afternoon to go flying it with a friend.
That was BWB... he was always in the middle of something.  Bill wasn't
Fuel System Musings, comments encouraged22 Oct 2008 01:22 GMT22
My blog has become a way for me to think out loud about my project.
Putting things down in a narrative helps me crystallize my thoughts,
and give me something to refer back to when the time comes to move
from thinking to doing.
Electric Inline Fuel Pump Recommendations21 Oct 2008 20:44 GMT3
Anybody have a recommendation for a high pressure electric fuel pump
for fuel injected IOF-360 engine.  It needs to be an inline pump with
output pressure of 25psi and hopefully doesn't cost an arm and part of
a leg.  It will be installed external from fuel tank and use AN6

Every time I read the completion bits in Sport Aviation and
Kitplanes,
everyone keeps thanking their wives for support, patience and
help. Mine keeps asking why I'm wasting my time and looks for other
Looking for information on Wright Flyer projects in 2003.21 Oct 2008 04:32 GMT5
Good day all!
There were several projects that I know of to fly a reproduction of the
Wright's 1903 "Flyer" back in the centenary year.
However all those that I know of failed to leave the ground.
