Contact... or somewhere about STOL concept where the forward spar pivoted
with the rear spar on a vertically adjusting slide operated from inside, thus
adjusting the angle of attack without changing the ground ...

Anybody here have any experience with this little plane?  I know it was
originally sold as a kit but the company is gone.  Are plans available?
 Is it worth trying to build one or are there better options these days?

Can a thin foil tape be fastened to the front of a wooden spar to act
as a VHF antenna?  The antenna would be encapsulated in several layers

Midair over north Boulder, CO today with three confirmed fatalities so
far. A Piper Pawnee towing what I believe is a Lockheed glider was
struck by a Cirrus SR-20 northwest of the Boulder County airport. The

I did an Oxford instrument ground school long ago.
One of the weather topics was glaze ice. This was described as extremely
dangerous, in that supercooled rain could impact and flow to a glassy
ice layer over the wing in seconds, which tended to pull the aircraft
