I just became the proud owner of an auction radio, a King KLN 89B GPS
reciever only, sold without tray or antenna.
I was curious about how interchangeable the trays are between the KLN
models.. say.. is the connector on a KLN 88 loran tray physically

All the approach plates for Aspen are marked "Procedure not authorized
at night" (presumably a result of the G4 crash a few years back).  And
yet there are commercial flights scheduled to land as Aspen at night.  
How do they do it?

Did a short trip yesterday from MWC to OSH with the gf, just to go,
about 3PM.  Was planning on cruising at 3 to avoid ice in the clouds,
which were not far about that at all.  Briefer tells me there's an
inversion aloft, and the freezing level is at NINER.  Cool, great!

    I am a VFR pilot and I currently have a 96C in which I loaded some 700
user waypoints, neede in Italy to find VFR reporting points and
airstrips. My new club's airplane will have a Garmin GNS430. I contacted
Garmin in order to know if it would be possible to load waypoints
