I just passed the CFI Knowledge test today but I have some questions for the
group.  Sure I could look these up, but lets stimulation some discussion.
Here are some questions that I do not know if I answered correctly.  The

On a few occasions I have filed a departure procedure to a nearby
intersection just to get on top (comments section reads "IFR to VFR on
top"). After breaking out of the clouds and advising ATC of the bases
and tops, I usually cancel IFR and proceed "own nav" with flight

I have a question for the group. Im working on my IFR ticket, and will be
finished in about another 2-3 months, depending on how much I fly (Im renting.
.so at $165/hr with instructor,, the $$$$ flow is very high right now) . I
