Tuesday, and I should be finished within the next few weeks, too.
We're both going to continue on with Instrument training. I figure that
Steep turns under the hood31 Dec 2004 15:15 GMT3
Even though they're not required, I wanted to do some.  Since I hadn't

real difference was scanning for traffic when the hood was off.  ...

Best Home Study Materials31 Dec 2004 00:18 GMT3
I am planning to become a private pilot. What are the best home study
materials instead of grand school? I prefer PC based interactive DVD.
So far, I have heard of Sporty's, Cessna Pilot Kit, King Courses...
Thanks!

If I am a Resident Alien (Green Card Holder) do I need to register with the

After having two acro lessons cancelled last week due to winter weather
in the Northeast I had two lessons scheduled last Wednesday before

but of course we had a dead mag so I went from two lessons to none.

More instrument ground instruction, less flying29 Dec 2004 05:23 GMT1
After a couple of days flying last week, today turned out to be the same
as last Wednesday...ground instruction due to sick (or getting sick)
instructor.  The good news is that it's way cheaper just paying for
instructor time.  Slightly less of an impact on the fun-meter though.
