My First "Do Not Land" Decision30 Jan 2006 19:36 GMT2
There are two participants in the story, your truly and another pilot who

Dear Traders,
One thing is fore sure, good value stocks will never fall like Amazon.com or Yahoo! during the perfect storm of the internet hype.
To give you a small hint about Google, you have to look at the heavy insider trading in this stock. Stocks with the value of more than 15 ...

Instrument rated?30 Jan 2006 15:25 GMT6
Are you instrument rated?
. Are you tired of paying for instrument procedures you don't use?
. Would you like to develop your own custom library of procedures?
. Would you like to update your library automatically and unattended?
How long between passing your check ride and your first flight?30 Jan 2006 05:27 GMT27
Just a little curious about how much time passes between most people's
successful check ride and their next flight?
For one reason and another, I am coming up on almost 4 months.  Hopefully
that streak will end tomorrow morning, but it got me thinking about what
I can't land30 Jan 2006 03:55 GMT17

to file and shoot a few approaches.  Waited on the ground for a half
hour, and celings had gone up enough that we cancelled and went to
Finally in the air again!30 Jan 2006 02:58 GMT11
Well, I finally connected with one of the CFIs at my new flying
club and got checked-out in the C172 (this was necessary before

Boy! was I rusty. Plus, I think I suffered from some of that old

Cost of initial jar class 2 medical29 Jan 2006 00:37 GMT1
Just paid £153 pound for a class 2 initial jar medical.  I have been
searching google groups and see some people paying £60 for one but is
that just a renew or have I been ripped off?  My instructor was very
sure I should only see this particular AME out of the two on the list -

Very Postponed Follow Up28 Jan 2006 04:28 GMT1
Okay, So everyone remembers that huge mistake of a post I made regarding my
Student Pilot "Long" cross Country.  I actually took photographs of that
flight.  I posted them to my personal web site.  Its been a few months now
and I figured I would give everyone a chance to reflect ...
Practice, Practice, Practice27 Jan 2006 19:55 GMT7
I'm getting very close to my checkride. My instructor sent me out to
practice ground reference manuvers and stalls. Then one more ride with
him (to a grass strip, for one thing), a little ground session with a
mock oral and then the ride.
PPL Confuser27 Jan 2006 19:32 GMT4
Has this book got the answers to all the questions they could ask for
the air law exam?  It has about 150 questions and answers in it.  Does
the exams get generated from this exact bank of questions.  I am also
working through the jeremy pratt air law book but its going fairly slow
Finding time to fly . . .27 Jan 2006 16:25 GMT3
I last left you with some frustration of seeming to
take a step backwards (mid-December).
With the demands of the holidays, New Year, and completion
