I wonder if anybody would be able to provide feedback on (recent)
training experiences with 'UK Flight Training' at either Long Beach
(LGB) or Lancaster (LNS). I am interested in going to obtain either
just a FAA PPL, or either both the JAA and FAA PPLs.

I'm getting very close to my checkride, which is not what the fear is
about. I've got just over 50 hours now, 10.1 PIC, logged my cross
countries and in fact my instrcutor and I are brushing up on a few

Ron,
Looks like another month has come and  gone. I didn't fly at all last
month. THe last time I flew was to the Eagle Flyers thing at Greencastle
on 01/22.

These two kids (age 14) took dads plane for a joyride and ran out of
fuel... Not far from my home airport... Yikes... I am sure the "More GA
Security" group will speak up about this one...
