wheelchair and move around using his feet on the ground and his arms
on the wheels.  This is a very good sign considering that he was

Gene Whit update #328 Mar 2007 06:29 GMT10

Landings28 Mar 2007 02:08 GMT62
My CFI said sometimes you might have to use full power on landings? I
can see using some power in the beginning or to do a soft field
landing but he just smiled and told me to do some research and we'd

anti dizziness training27 Mar 2007 01:33 GMT18
Recently I saw a movie where student pilots are put on an office chair and
spun around as an anti diziness training.
Does this actually work? How often and how hard do I have to do this
exercise to reap any benefits?

Does the pattern always exist on both sides of the runway?24 Mar 2007 04:08 GMT10
This came up in training a couple of weeks ago
and it's still bothering me.
At my airport the runways run 16 - 34.  The published
patterns are right for 16 and left for 34, keeping all
Aviation Podcasts23 Mar 2007 19:43 GMT1
I am totally amazed at how many aviation related Podcasts are available for
free on the internet.
Not to mention that there are some really great Video Podcasts out there.
Am I the last one to find this out?
Run ups.23 Mar 2007 13:44 GMT71
Question:
I've done all the relevant checks and done a few circuits with the
instructor. We land and he gets out and sends me off to do some solo
circuits. The engine hasn't switched off.
