ProtoBike VTOL Flying Motorcycle thingy21 Nov 2003 01:03 GMT9
There's a company named ProtoScience in the U.S.A. that is making "personal
VTOL" vehicles that look like a flying motorcycle.  Seems they are building

I have a number of options for the use of a recent inheritance, one of which
is to fullfil a lifetime desire to fly choppers.
What could a Helicopter Pilot expect to earn, flying in Australia?
I realise this may be a little like asking, "How long is a piece of string?"
Addon heli rating, does it require a written?14 Nov 2003 00:23 GMT11
If you have a private pilot fixed wing license are you required to
take a written test of some type for adding helicopter rating?  If
yes, what is the written and is it different then what a non-license
student would have to take?
