Does anyone have an opinion about rotocraft schools in the Seattle Area?
I went for a demo ride at Classic Helicopter, but I know there are a few
other schools in the area. Before committing to one school I was
wondering if anyone had any rants or raves? Suggestions?

HELP!! I have an old 28 vdc Grimes Rotating Beacon with an all red
cover that does not work anymore. It appears the motor
(Barber-Coleman)is missing a brush and spring. Does anyone know where
I can get another motor? If not, then does anyone know where I can get

As a newly qualified ppl(h) UK based I am now starting to visit new
airfields for the first time.
Often I could easily land without going anywhere near the circuit.

I was wondering what I could expect to get hourly from a TV station for an
R44 ENG news copter.  A station here is looking into contracting a
helicopter for 10-15 hrs a month and I thought "Mmmm, maybe a way to get

Reliable? ~ The positive article is written by Ken Armstrong. He has flown

Is there anybody reading this group who has experience with
transporting a patient with an intra-aortic balloon pump in an Agusta
A109 or A119 helicopter?  I am particularly interested the aircraft is
best loaded and the pump stowed.
