Howdy,
I don't check the newsgroups that I used to follow religiously  as much as I did
in times past - too many irons in the fire - but I thought I'd share some of the
excellent postings that Bob B has made in years past. He hasn't been around here

Well greeting folks.
Been a while since I made a post to the group so today is the day.
Was just watching Daily Planet a daily Canadian science news type show
and they were showing the Mosquito helicopter in action.

I have this idea and have been thinking of applying for a patent. Also
thinking of how much to charge for this product even though a prototype
is not yet "in the bag".
The idea for this product is a result of advances in technology evolving

Currently on Ebay is an add for a couple of pitch links for a Bell 412
helicopter.  The add says that the list price for the pair is $30,000!!!!!
With a buy it now price of $8,000.  I just finished making a set for my
Safari that had rod ends both lt and rt hand and I doubt that I ...

I asked a Tokyo helicopter company what it costs to charter a small
chopper to one hour to do some filming at nightfall in Tokyo, and they
mentioned a figure around usd3000.
Is there any way of finding it cheaper? I am producing a low budget

Does anyone know about eliminating the time life (and the requirement to
record TTSN) for S61 main rotor blades (P/N S6117-20101-xx) if they are in
military or government service with the IBIS bim sytem installed and going
to "on condition"? If so can you provide a document number ...

There are several firms offering either plans for, or kits, for homebuilt
helicopters that have little if any supporting actual  flite test data.  Yet
apparently there are willing buyers out there willing to part with their
money for these subjects of marketing rhetoric.  Even EAA ...

It's getting pretty boring here. So, who has done an actual emergency
autorotation and what was the outcome?
As previously posted, I've done at least five with various failures and
all to successful conclusions. Geeez guys....it's Christmas! Can't we
