Now that touchdown autorotations are no longer required or even
demonstrated for CFI applicants, nor are FAA inspectors going to do
them, is the general proficiency for autorotations going down the tubes
by FAA mandate?

I made scores of 10 and 05 mostly on my hearing test during my
physical.  Is that enough to keep me qualified for Warrant Officer
Flight Training?  Is there a specific requirement?

To start off, I am 18 years old and graduating from high school.  I am
very strong academically and intellectually, with scores of 1560 and 32
on my SAT and ACT, respectively.  Hopefully this means that I am suited
to handle the mental tasks of being a pilot.

I've been cleaning out my ultralight construction area and have found
some old, unused plans for both the Gyrobee and the Bumble Bee. Anybody

Is anyone building the ultralight Sparrow or the

Subject says it all..  Looking for panel pics of a Bell 407,
specifically the LCD gauges and the Caution Panel.  Video of engine
gauges in operation would be great, but not necessary..

In reviewing the Vortec Jet Helicopter plans, a reference is made to a "fuel
transfer mechanism" modification to the rotor hub/control head.
Although somewhat familiar with fixed wing fuel systems, I can't picture a
"fuel line connection" between a stationary mast and a rotating ...

Does anyone know where one could obtain a Schweitzer 300C/CB/CBi or Hughes
269C model for X-Plane, version 7.x or 8.x?
