looking for Mr. cerceo01 Sep 2004 00:04 GMT2
I am looking for a way to contact a Mr. Bruno M. Cerceo, a glider pilot, who
lives in the Pittsburgh, Pa. USA, area. His phone number is unlisted, and it
appears his address in the public data base is not correct. He is not an SSA
member.

I received one of the first TruTrak solid-state (no gyro) T&B indicators
last week and flew with it last Saturday.  For a full report, go to

Classic motorglider info please30 Aug 2004 22:47 GMT5
I am deciding on a homebuilt project.  I am considering a project like
the classic Fournier motorgliders.  I believe they are called touring
motorgliders.  Thr RF4 style or my favorite looking plane, the
Schleicher ASK-14, is the type I'm refering to.  Powered flight would
Russia AC-5M on E-Bay?30 Aug 2004 12:36 GMT7
I have had my Russia AC-5M up for sale for quite a while now with no
results.  I was thinking of putting it on E-Bay to get a more international
exposure.  Has anyone ever sold an airplane on E-Bay?  Is this a crazy
idea?  The plane is like new and we keep dropping the price but ...

Fredericksburg Texas MG contest28 Aug 2004 18:08 GMT1
Doris and I are flying in the motorglider contest in Fredericksburg, Texas.
We hoped to also have a two place contest, however, a few cancellations and
lack of interest had only two of us showing up. There a total of eleven
contestants in the motorglider contest.
"W" is JFK's son and Bush revenge killed Kennedy in 196328 Aug 2004 17:58 GMT1
JFK gave Barbara Pierce a lesson in life in the summer of 1944 (making
her a "Cape Cod heiress"), and to her eventual husband, JFK gave a
personal motive for revenge. Perhaps if George and Barb had announced
their earlier engagement or even if George had given Barb a diamond
Seeking US Source for Main Wheel Tubes28 Aug 2004 15:46 GMT7
I was disappointed by Desser Tire of Memphis Tennessee last week when
they sent me three 5.00-5 tubes with a valve unsuitable for my wheel
(interferes with landing gear strut). They assured me this was the
only available valve and would work for my sailplane. I've removed
5000 meter height gain28 Aug 2004 15:31 GMT8
How do most pilots go about the 5000 meter height gain in the Sierras?
Somehow getting in a glider on a cold/windy Minden winter day does
not sound like me.  During the summer I stumbled across a wave
condition behind Mt Rose but I was not sure about how the O2 system
