Long ago, when I was a child and had time to worry about such things, I
read about a WW2 project to put Marines in gliders.   There were even
photos in Air Classics or one of those magazines.
Has anyone tried the same thing since 1944?

4 years old, blue, excellent condition, always stored at home inside.

I'm looking into buying an 18m Diamant. There doesn't appear to be much
info about this particular model on the net other than the BGA's tech
sheet and a few odd references. I have no issue with it being flapped
etc. I wondered if anyone had experience with the 18 metre Diamant ...

Anyone else unable to submit flights to OLC tonight?    I've  spent the
last 4 hours trying to submit a flight, but it seems like the server is

I've pretty much made up my mind to use a PDA w/Flash GPS. Prices for
these things range from $65-150. Can anyone relate good or bad
experience with any particular brand/model? Thanks.

My glider has several cockpit placards that are in pretty sad shape.
I would like to get new placards printed with white letters on black
background.  On a durable (maybe vinyl) sticky backed sheet.
Does anybody know of a source for such printing ?

If I install ConnectMe on my PDA to communication with my Cambridge
Model 20 Flight Recorder, will I get an IGC format file complete with
G-Record acceptable to the OLC for scoring (or with .CAI file appended
to the end of the record)?
