Some time ago on RAS someone was mentioning problems and solution to the memory batteries in the Becker 3201 radio. Can any one point me the right direction? I have my radio out of the panel and this might be excellent time for replacement. Thanks.

I have a military bailout bottle, and the bottle is empty. It appears that the lanyard has been pulled. I do not know anything about these bottles, but it looks like there is some sort of "valve" or a one use plug in the hose that the lanyard actually breaks or ???? Are these

Not long ago there was a discussion here about how to match the battery cable connectors installed in some German gliders. I'm reworking the batteries in my ASW 24 and dug out the notes I'd made back in 1992 when I had to locate these connectors the last time.

I just heard, through a friend, that there was a glider accident reported in a San Antonio, TX paper. Maybe at the Boerne field? Something about a wing coming off on tow. Anybody have any information.

Did you check the contacts in the S-Nav? Maybe they have some corrosion on them, causing the vario to see lower backup battery voltage. Steve Leonard
