Becker 3201 memory batteries30 Jun 2006 23:23 GMT2
Some time ago on RAS someone was mentioning problems and solution to
the memory batteries in the Becker 3201 radio. Can any one point me the
right direction? I have my radio out of the panel and this might be
excellent time for replacement. Thanks.
Military bailout bottle refill30 Jun 2006 17:59 GMT3
I have a military bailout bottle, and the bottle is empty.  It appears

bottles, but it looks like there is some sort of "valve" or a one use
plug in the hose that the lanyard actually breaks or ????  Are these
U.S. Battery Cable Connectors for German Gliders29 Jun 2006 23:05 GMT1
Not long ago there was a discussion here about how to match the battery
cable connectors installed in some German gliders. I'm reworking the
batteries in my ASW 24 and dug out the notes I'd made back in 1992 when
I had to locate these connectors the last time.

I just heard, through a friend, that there was a glider accident
reported in a San Antonio, TX paper.    Maybe at the Boerne field?
Something about a wing coming off on tow.  Anybody have any

Thanks to the glider pilot clones in Austria28 Jun 2006 04:58 GMT15
I received this e-mail from my 16-year-old daughter who has been in
Austria about 25 km south of St. Pölten for nine months on a high
school exchange.  Before she left soaring was just one of those things
her strange dad did.  Now it is cool.  The short wing comment is

Hi, I just want to use this forum to thank Adam Schneider, the guy
behind GPS Visualizer, for providing this fantastic tool - for free!
As you might have noticed, we used it on the homepage of the World
Gliding Championships 2006 to display IGC-files both in Google Maps,

Questions for EDS D1a users...27 Jun 2006 08:21 GMT14
I used the EDS D1a that came with my DG-600 for the first time,
yesterday.  This was a 6 hour flight in the 15 to 17.9K range.  Up to
this point, all of my gliders have been equipped with continuous flow
systems and Oxymizer cannulas.  This EDS setup was using the standard

I have been involved in discussions at a couple of clubs looking at the
inevitable replacement of wood and fabric trainers.
There are many, often polarised views on subjects like:
Whether we should ever plan on replacing the K13
Re:  SNAV-LNAV low memory-battery voltage message?26 Jun 2006 20:30 GMT3

have some corrosion on them, causing the vario to see
lower backup battery voltage.
