This year's Cordele Region V South Contest will be the week of May
12-19.  Contest dates are Monday, May 14 thru Saturday, May 29, 2007.
Classes will be 18 Meters, 15 Meters, Standard, and Sports.  CD is
Andy McQuigg.  Ray Galloway will do the weather.  Entry Fee is $430

Does anyone have any recommendations for lightweight, but good "grip" gloves
for use when gliding, that would be available in or from the UK?
I'm looking for something with good "feel" and that won't slip from the
stick, or cable release, but that provides a degree of warmth when ...

It is snowing outside and privately I have been corresponding about
the successful installation of a transponder in my SparrowHawk and
transponders in general and thought this might be some interest to
many of you .

i'd be interested to hear from anyone who has sucessfully

Sometime ago, there was a link on r.a.s. to a funny video for a Dutch
insurance company.  It showed two students, each thinking that the
other is his instructor, taking off in a glider.  Both instructors
then show up on the field, waiting for their respective students

Has someone ever implemented a liquid oxygen system inside a glider?

Is anybody having trouble with invalid igc files in
OLC? I submitted one last week, no problem. This week
though, same process results in an invalid file.
Hope it's just pre-season sorting out of the software.
