I'm seriously considering installing a transponder
in our Discus CS.  Does anyone have any experience
with the dipole antenna model L2 made by Advanced Aircraft
Electronics (AAE) and sold on the Wings & Wheels web

It seems that a German powered paraglider pilot has just flown one over
Aoraki/Mt. Cook as his first shot at mountain flying. He flew from the
West Coast, east to the Mt. Cook landing strip in a westerly, passing
directly over the top of Aoraki, which is roughly N-S with not more ...

Can someone tell me the status of the old Data Plate Exemption for
gliders?  There used to be a page on the SSA web page with the
exemption, but I can't find it now.
Is the Data Plate Exemption exempt?  Do I now need a data plate?

My club is about to acquire a 250 HP Pawnee with no muffler and a 7 ft
climb pitch prop.  We are anticipating some noise issues.  I have seen

Thanks to all for suggestions on keeping rodents out of gliders and
glider trailers.
So far, so good.  No signs of "Mickey Mouse" today.
A couple or three weeks ago, I did the following:

The first edition of the new magazine, "Gliding International" has an
article on the 2 seat self-launch super glider, the EB28.  I would
have thought that a glider of this class would have automatic hookups,
but it uses l'Hotellier connections.
