Grob parts in US...30 Apr 2008 22:05 GMT5
Now that Grob no longer has a presence in the US, what are the options

See SPOT run...30 Apr 2008 20:57 GMT11
Gordon Boettger has just taken off from Minden in another record
breaking distance attempt. It's a blue wave day and he is carrying
SPOT. He will be turning it on as soon as he is in the wave...

1-35 Canopy30 Apr 2008 18:18 GMT14
An evil gust of wind totalled a Canopy for one of the LVVSA member's
1-35 today.  Initial searches for a source for a new one didn't yield
good news.  Any help would be appreciated.

During the drive home today from the airfield I had a little blowout
on the freeway which destroyed the right fender and sent it somewhere

You folks may remember a few season back when I visited an Amish

Terrain on iPAQ glide computers28 Apr 2008 05:32 GMT10
I've loaded terrain on my iPAQ Hx 4705 (using XCSoar), and find that
it makes it too hard for me to see much else on the screen when
flying, so I turn it off.  I think a simpler map, just showing roads,
would be more useful.
