Why do flight plans get lost?01 Oct 2003 00:29 GMT7
The other week I went to Malaga (a small nearby field actually) and

France - VFR v SVFR and the IMC?28 Sep 2003 19:41 GMT40
I think only the CAA can answer my question but before I possibly make a

peri fencing, with lighted structures within.  Some ...

Where can I buy a *realy* cheap headset?24 Sep 2003 13:34 GMT2
I'm looking to buy a couple of *really cheap* headsets i.e. < £50.
Just to be used for the occasional passenger, so they don't need to be
pretty -just about working is fine.  Does anyone know where I could find
some for sale?

Turbofan Engine Question : Bypass Flow22 Sep 2003 08:10 GMT3

commercial aircraft high bypass turbo fan engine. In particular the
temperature (total) of the bypass flow. Temperatures obviously vary with
Mixing headsets from different manufacturers21 Sep 2003 15:29 GMT14
Does anyone have a technical (I know about electronics but not specifically
about aircraft intercoms) explanation of why headsets from two manufacturers
may not work together on an intercom.
The motor glider I share has two cheap and nasty headsets.  I have a Peltor
SEP via LCY?18 Sep 2003 13:11 GMT3
I am sure the answer must be NO (although a CFI once told me
otherwise) but say one got cleared from ALKIN to LCY and maintaining
the track (about 330) until outside the Class D... would that break
