The anti-airport campaigners have been at it again in the Coventry

Earlier this year, TUI, who own ThompsonFly started operating 737s out
of Coventry Airport to various european destinations.
PPL SEP IR - Is it worth it?29 May 2004 07:20 GMT9

IR and recently I've been thinking how nice it would be to go somewhere
without having to avoid (effectively) IFR only airspace and IMC.
For example, one thing I'd like to do in the future for example is fly ...

axis autopilot, as well as a new Bendix/King KI208 indicator.

A human muscle powered airplane?20 May 2004 13:35 GMT2
I've seen a tv programme about some ultra air constructions. One of them was
an airplane powered with human muscle. It flew over The Channel piloted by
some cyclist.
I'm looking information about this plane and its constructor. I want to
IFR waypoints20 May 2004 13:11 GMT8
I'm VFR only, but have heard over the radio clearances for what I presume
are IFR waypoints (e.g. Norry).
Is there an online resource which shows where they are and what they're
called?
VMC on top on a PPL - which countries allow this?19 May 2004 09:11 GMT12

Lasham - prior permission only19 May 2004 05:00 GMT3
Recently we had a continental pilot land at Lasham in Hampshire with out any
prior phone or radio calls. Upon querying his actions he showed us his data
from a very well known airfield guide that was totally wrong.
Laham is owned by Lasham Gliding Society and is porbably the busiest ...
