You often see reference to people doing JAA PPL training in the USA but what of other countries? Say Australia, NZ, Canada, Spain anyone here know of anyone or have experience themselves.

My site is an interactive directory of airfields. Information is provided by pilots. It's been activ for several years in France. I recently added the Irish airfields. (UK airfields were added one year ago).

Does anyone here have any practical experience of powered parachutes? I've talked about having a go at these for years but, apart from looking at the BHPA site, I don't know anything about them or where to go to learn - any suggestions or info?

I'm fortunate that I have a choice of airfields to learn to fly from. Cranfield, Turweston, Sywell, Enstone. Which is the best to learn at taking into account I'm starting in November and will be taking lessons during the week and not weekends.
